MEDIA RELEASE – Positive future can be found at adult career expo!

With job cuts everywhere, Queenslanders need to secure their work future in a career they really want. That’s what the Expo TV campaign explains as the reason for people to consider attending Brisbane’s 6th Reinvent Your Career Expo.

This year the expo brings together some of Australia’s leading, career experts, universities, TAFEs, private educators and trainers, Government departments, employers with real job opportunities and more.

Employer Branding Specialist, Nicholas Ricciuti the CEO and Founder of Reinvent Your Career says “It seems like the talk at functions and get togethers these days is all about what’s happening in the job market. The predictions we are hearing from most commentators is that the employment participation rate will continue to fall in the short term.”

“People are feeling nervous about their jobs, organisations and in some cases their industry as a whole. Some job seekers could be forgiven for losing hope or feeling confused and helpless as decisions are made for them by faceless people who influence economic factors that few want to understand.”

“What is needed, now more than ever is clear communication which can establish direction and hope with expert advice for Queensland’s labour market. That’s why we hold this expo every year. We actually help people!”

“If fact, there’s never been a better time to explore career options. My staff and I work all year to uncover opportunities to present the latest careers information on current and future labour market growth, which industries are growing, what current job opportunities exist and how to prepare yourself for future openings. With expert advice on hand at the Expo, free career check-ups offered by professional career counsellors, resume services, dynamic seminars, interactive workshops, RPL assessments and business and franchise opportunity’s on offer, hope to regain control of your work life can be found at the Brisbane Reinvent Your Career Expo. Imagine being happy at work then work backwards from there.”
