Go Career Shopping This Weekend!

Media Tab-Archive-Career Shopping; the secret of success

With the current economic marketplace heightening career insecurity and career change as a reality, thousands of employed and unemployed skilled workers are now open to new possibilities like never before.

“Over the past six years we have helped thousands of people find a job and move towards their career passion. With job cuts everywhere, people are eager to secure their work future in a career they really want,” says Employer Branding Specialist, Nicholas Ricciuti – CEO and Founder of the Reinvent Your Career Expo.

This year, the expo brings together some of Australia’s leading career experts, federal and state government departments, universities, TAFEs, private educators and trainers and major employers with real job opportunities in Sydney and the regional areas of New South Wales. Adults literally can  go career shopping this weekend!”

“People are feeling nervous about their jobs and in some cases their industry as a whole. Some job seekers could be forgiven for losing hope or feeling confused and helpless as decisions are made for them by faceless people who influence economic factors that few want to understand,” says Mr Ricciuti.

“What we need now more than ever is clear communication which can establish direction and hope through expert career advice for New South Wales’s labour market. That’s why we hold this expo every year. We actually help people!”

In brief, this year’s expo has expert advice on hand with professional career counsellors donating career and resume check-ups and holding   interactive workshops. Other career professionals will be providing resume services, dynamic seminars, recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessments, filling real jobs and providing business advice and business opportunities. As a visitor you may hope to reinspired and regain control of your career at the Sydney Reinvent Your Career Expo.

The expo will feature a Construction and Property Services industry hub, which will represent over 500 vocations. With the construction industry continuously expanding and the introduction of the Barangaroo South urban regeneration project, now has never been a better time to consider a job in this booming industry.

Visitor’s lives may be reimagined as they connect with some great employers such as Lend Lease, Energy Skills Australia, LJ Hooker, ACES Security, Australian Superyacht Crew, Hamilton Island, carecareers, Australian Home Care and Defence Force Recruiting – Army, Navy and Air force and more. Visitors may meet these organisations face-to-face to discuss job opportunities and potential career paths, providing them a rare opportunity to obtain a real insight into what jobs are currently available and future trends.

You can also meet some of Australia’s top educators such as Charles Sturt University, University of New England, Australian Catholic University, Deakin University, University of Tasmania, Think Education Group, Study Group, Australian Government Department of Industry – Skills Division and many others who will be at the expo to assist with career and course selection, returning to the workforce, upgrading and re-skilling.

Mr Ricciuti concluded, “A positive future can be found with a plethora of information and advice available and delivered personally and through dynamic seminars and career workshops. Even the NSW Government Small Biz Connect Unit will be at the show offering advice on starting and maintaining your own small business.

Visitors are sure to leave the event armed with a job prospect or better knowledge on how to upgrade, re-skill, return to the workforce or totally reinvent their career.

Sydney’s 7th Reinvent Your Career Expo is on August 30th and 31st at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park in Exhibition Hall 3. The Expo is open from 10am to 4pm both days.
