Bernadette Innes’ career in Human Resources provided her with the opportunity to peruse thousands of résumés and conduct countless interviews with prospective employees. Through extensive research of the market, she established there were no other résumé writers in her area with a human resources background.
In 2011, Bernadette founded Proven Résumé Results, a Werribee company offering a wide range of services including résumés, cover letters and post-interview acknowledgement letters, as well as formal interview coaching sessions, seminars and career counselling. In 2012, Proven Résumé Results extended its network, with the company’s Co-Director, Carmel Brown, opening an office in Ballarat.
Their current referral rate is 81 per cent, whilst the current success rate – clients achieving an interview within three months of applying for a position – is at 90 per cent. In 2013, Proven Résumé Results launched a partner business, Proven Recruitment Results, which targets potential employers and assists them with their future staffing needs.
