Target Market
The 'Real Age' demographic, sociological and psychographic audience has been selected by Everybody’s Career Company because of the neglect and lack of focus on the adult market.
Some Australian employers have been using the ‘vampire’ approach to recruitment. It seems they are constantly craving the fresh blood of younger workers. With an ageing population and proportionately increasing mature age workforce, it’s simply not sustainable.
Businesses need to broaden their recruitment strategies if they want to survive, and older workers can offer real advantages, including reliability, loyalty, experience, a strong work ethic and low absenteeism rates.
Reinvent Your Career Expos are aimed at the following:
TARGET AUDIENCE
Demographic of 22 years old through to 59 years old.
Career seekers in transition.
Currently employed and not happy in their chosen career.
University and TAFE students searching for a career transition.
Post Graduates+ not happy in their chosen career.
Career up grader’s.
Career diversification.
Needing self employment and business advice or options.
Seeking Career advice in general.
Reentering the workforce.
Seeking employment.
Other specific socioeconomic markets including disabled, indigenous and single parents
This report outlines the demographic and psychographic profile of visitors and includes insights into what adults are seeking in the education and job market. We also explain the marketing of the event and give you scores of testimonials from other exhibitors just like you. Now you can attract the best talent!

Nature Care College has been Australia’s leading college in natural therapies since 1973. We offer professional, government accredited and VET FEE-HELP approved qualifications and shorter, more general interest courses. We decided to exhibit with RYC, from its inception in 2008, as we could see that they had found a good niche in the market, and because of their thorough and knowledgeable approach in both expo organisation and mainstream media promotion. The RYC team have a professional and friendly approach that is most helpful and informative at all times. The Expos at Darling Harbour are smoothly run, fun to work at and very importantly, attended by our demographic. We have consistently received an above average influx of enquiries and enrolments post attending RYC, and consequently will continue to wave our banner at future expos.

I know this is because our offering hit the mark, and we had a great stand location as well, so I thank you for this. We got rid of 1900 brochures! And I did not have to give one to anyone, they just went. We had to get more printed on both days. Out Sept 6 Course is a sell out, thank you……And Guru has really taken off.’

‘The Reinvent Your Career Expo was full of people looking for opportunities to move into a more exciting and rewarding job. We were really pleased to get direct access to this job-ready market and to be able to offer them a great solution; in addition to the school leaver market we also attract at other Expos. We have rebooked next year and intent to be a regular exhibitor.’
Nicky Partridge - Institute Director
'At the CDAA Stand we offered career check-ups over the two days, ours was by far the busiest stand. During the two days we also provided career information to probably over 500 people per day (this figure could have been much higher, we didn't keep stats as we were too busy!). Probably closer to 4,000 actually visited our stand and took information about career development and how they can access it. Many times, during the course of our conversations, we directed people to other stands at the expo, often with a set of questions to ask to make the experience more worthwhile for them. This revealed two things to us: 1) Adults wanting to change or reinvent their careers are craving the assistance of 'experts' to help them demystify the process and; 2) we provided an important link between expo attendees and the other organisations represented at the expo.'
